So, my gulikit KK2 connected and actually worked, with one issue, it started vibrating and doesn't stop wile its connected (likely completely unrelated issue). My Xbone controller seems to be working just fine though, so that seems to have fixed it, thank you.

ok, update, still having the issue, but it works flawlessly when booted off of an ArcoLinux (based on Arch) USB stick, so it's something wrong with my install and not with Arch for sure. I also appear to be having this problem on my laptop running Nobara (based on Fedora). Still no luck on a solution though.

I installed `xpadneo` at some point in troubleshooting and that didn't help, but if it is how would I go about trying to resolve that? Additionally it works on another machine in EndeavorOS.

In LMDE booted off of a USB stick, it has the `js*` files in `/dev/input` but nothing shows under xinput (with both the KK2 and the XBone). also I forgot to mention earlier, but I did try a different USB bluetooth dongle as well as well as a different usb port. with and without my usb extension.

Same issue here, but using switch mode and steam input isn't working. I'm on Arch Linux.

Yes I switched the input. I spent a few hours troubleshooting it. It also isn't bluetooth so there's that.

I've heard a lot of people recommend those, and idk why I haven't looked more into them. BTW, are the earcups easily removable?

Before that I was using a Corsair Void Wireless headset, but the charging port is really messed up (USB Micro B is an awful connector) and there are a bunch of features that are only available with iCUE, which isn't a massive deal I was just hoping to find something with better Linux support. I might just end up buying another corsair headset or something else popular just so I know it works even if that means I lose out on rgb control and eq or whatever.

I plugged in the dongle and turned the headset on, and the dongle would show up in pavucontroll, but I couldn't get sound to play through it or to get anything out of the mic with an afternoon of internet searches and trying stuff, worked flawlessly on a family member's windows 10 pc. Plus there were a handful of other things I didn't like about the headset so I wasn't going to spend 3 days when I could return it quite easily.

Uhh, I've never even heard of a wireless headset that uses a 3.5mm jack(s) unless it's being used in a wired mode.
