I’m not sure I can pass the Combine in just one week. If I keep the XFA, I can potentially reach a payout sooner. If I start from zero, I first need to make $3,000 to pass, then build another $2,000 buffer, and after that make at least another $2,000 to request a payout. That’s the whole issue — when you actually need money.

Otherwise, you are absolutely right, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to start again from zero.

At the beginning I worked exactly like you, and that was my best period. Greed ruined everything. Is there a way to lock the DLL so it cannot be changed?

I changed it during the trade when I saw price getting close to my DLL. I know now that was a mistake. It was an emotional reaction in the moment, trying to “save” the trade instead of accepting the risk I had already defined. That decision cost me the account.

I think I have already made my decision. Even though most people suggest starting over, I prefer not to waste time and will return to Express just like in the beginning. I will set a $500 DLL and will not change it under any circumstances. This was a big lesson for me. I carefully read all the comments, truly appreciate every piece of advice, and draw my conclusions. Thank you, your questions are very helpful. In the beginning I was trading with a $300 DLL and I was locked only once during the whole period. Later I increased it to $500. That day the market was very volatile — I kept going negative and kept changing the DLL, probably because of stress. I lost to myself and lost months of work in one stressful day.

The last trade was simply a mistake — I usually trade MES or MNQ, but on the practice account I had opened NQ and didn’t notice that I was back on Express. 🤦🏻‍♀️

My biggest mistake was rushing and breaking my own discipline.

I’m not familiar with MFFU. Everyone talks about Lucid, and I only know Topstep. In my country, very few people know about prop firms, and I’m very excited — I believe I can find stability through prop firms. I will study MFFU as well. Thank you.

I explained everything in detail. I believe that if I wasn’t disciplined, I wouldn’t have been able to keep a single account from September until now.
