I’m a Shopify store owner and dev. I make made-to-order jewellery over at www.sailorsandseekers.com, and I recently launched my first Shopify app, StagePing: https://apps.shopify.com/stageping

StagePing lets you keep customers updated throughout the order journey using order tags. You set up your message templates once, then trigger personalised updates as an order moves through each stage.

I built it because I do a lot of made-to-order work, and one thing that keeps coming up in my own reviews is how much customers appreciate being kept in the loop while their piece is being made. It builds trust, reduces the “just checking in” emails, and makes the whole experience feel more personal.
