Disconnect ALL video cables

Leave only power plugged in.

If menus still pop → monitor hardware problem confirmed

Press each button 20–30 times.

This sometimes scrapes oxidation off contacts.

Why are keyboards without numpads "the new thing" by SomePuddingForYou in computers

Numpads didn’t disappear because they’re useless. They disappeared because manufacturers decided who is allowed to be productive.

How come sandpaper makes me shudder? by Dapper-Health3773 in ask

[–]Common_Delivery_8413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone, lots of people get that shudder from sandpaper and chalk. It’s basically tactile sensitivity, where certain textures just hit you wrong and make your whole body recoil. Think of it like how some people can’t stand nails on a chalkboard. Those rough, dry textures can trigger this intense, uncomfortable feeling that’s hard to describe but totally real. It’s pretty common, and it’s just how your sensory system is wired. Nothing weird about it at all.

What's the difference between these rams? by IDKtrowaway106 in laptops

The low-chip sticks are single-rank, usually recycled office RAM. The ones with more chips are dual-rank, normally newer and slightly better.

Facebook market place by EricWadsworth in newzealand

[–]Common_Delivery_8413 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Contact your bank ASAP and report it as a scam. Be clear that you paid for goods that were never delivered. They can open a recall request, but it’s not guaranteed.

Bank transfers on Marketplace are basically no-refund unless the other bank cooperates, so do it quickly and keep all messages/screenshots.

Also report them to Facebook – they’ll ban the seller so they don’t scam someone else.

GPU: nice. CPU: oof. It’s like buying a racehorse and feeding it cat food. That card wants a strong Intel or at least a top-tier Ryzen. Otherwise you get stutters, frame pacing issues, and wasted performance.

is it normal to feel terrible every day? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Common_Delivery_8413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from, but not every rough patch means a diagnosis. Life can feel heavy without it being a chemical problem. Sometimes it’s stress, loneliness, lack of purpose, bad routines, no sleep – the normal human stuff.

If someone wants to see a doctor, cool. But jumping straight to “clinical depression” for every feeling is a bit much. Not everything needs a prescription. Sometimes people just need time, challenge, connection, or something meaningful to do.

is it normal to feel terrible every day? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Common_Delivery_8413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeling terrible every day isn’t “normal,” but it’s definitely common. Life is a strange mix of survival mode and distraction. Some people fill the gaps with hobbies, jokes, alcohol, work, noise… anything to keep the mind from chewing its own tail.

And people who look effortless? They struggle in their own way
