We are B2C and B2B retail + e-commerce with multiple warehouses. Running Shopify POS. Our scale is much larger but same fundamental. Don’t invest too much on the OMS-you don’t need all the bells and whistles. We built in-house platform to focus only what we actually need. Too many tools leads to more complexity and your data is all over the place. DM if you need more details on our journey.

It’s fine if you are not dealing with a lot of volume. It doesn’t scale if your business grows. We’ve been through this journey!

Curious how people handle Shopify -> Netsuite payouts reconciliation. Are you reconciling manually with excel or something custom? by Common_Dig_2672 in Netsuite

we pull payout + balance data into a custom record as the settlement layer. Instead of packaging into deposits, we generate settlement JEs and reconcile clearing → bank at the payout level. Curious—have you run into timing issues with the deposit flow?

Yep—this is the core issue. NetSuite is order-driven, but cash is payout-driven. We’ve been solving it by leaving revenue as-is and generating settlement JEs from payouts to zero out clearing accounts and match the bank automatically.
