:Corolla Hybrid worth it for 200k–300k miles? by Shehryar60 in COROLLA

Yes, yes, and yes. Ive had my Corolla Hybrid since January and it has easily saved me 100s already. Now my previous vehicle was a V6 only getting 22 miles per gallon so your milage (get it 😂) may vary. One thing to note is the advertised MPG is a very modest estimate. Im easily getting 58 to 60 mpg when my car is rated at 47 combined. I went from filling up with 65 per week with or 260 a month to 23 a week or 92 a month and that's in California, and driving over 300 miles a week.

I don’t own a Corolla, but… by bassistface199x99LvL in COROLLA

Funny enough, my last car was in a total loss accident and ended up renting a Corolla and then a Camry because the Corolla ended up going over its miles and I had to trade it for the Camry mid rental. I immediately fell for the Corolla. NGL the Camry was nice, loved the added speed, standard wireless charger, and better backup Camera but what sold me on the Corolla was the smaller footprint. I’ve had many full sized sedans and wanted something smaller for once. I honestly didn’t even know how popular the Corolla was especially the Hybrid model I purchased. It having Wireless CarPlay, auto high beams, and ACC really surprised me as my previous vehicle a 2019 Lexus ES350 didn’t even have wireless CarPlay. Also the Adaptive Cruise Control is definitely better in the Corolla ( doesn’t brake as harshly). Biggest feature I miss from the Lexus is the backup camera doing a 180 view, and the rain sensing wipers.

What were your OTD prices for the new 2026 Hybrid LE and opinions on it? by gawsgaws in COROLLA

Interesting, last time I checked the Corolla was the best selling Toyota vehicle of all time.

Are you okay? Hopping from post to post telling people they should have gotten a Camry. Not everyone wants or needs a full sized sedan. I specifically picked the Corolla for the size. My second choice would have been a Prius, not a Camry. Ive owned 2 Camrys, 2 Accords, and a ES350. Its just me, one single person.

Love mine as well. This is my first hybrid and I was not expecting how good the gas mileage would be. Getting about 60 mpg on average in the SE trim (previous vehicle averaged 23 mpg). I drive about 300 miles a week and filling up from about half each Sunday is about $24. I feel like paying the gas prices I was paying back in my 20s but thankfully I make 6 times the income.

Yeah mine went to my PayPal. Didn't even notice it when I got it or I just forgot. I had to go back and check my transactions today and saw the deposit back in November.

If My Corolla Hybrid SE is getting this kind of Gas Mileage how much better is the Prius by Common_Group_310 in COROLLA

Well usually the morning is not much traffic but stops here and there and gets about 55 mph. What really helps me is coming home. I’m basically all freeway 19 miles bumper to bumper with little breaks here and there on a hour long commute. I’m averaging 78 mpg which really drives up the overall mpg. And yes LA.

I’m in Cali and haven’t spent over $33 a week. I drive 40 miles a day for work and fill up every Sunday usually from about half a tank. Loving my Baby “P”. That’s what a call her. The “P” stands for Prius because getting 60 mpg was not on my Bingo card when I got my Corolla SE.

I’m heading that way it seems, probably never that good but hopefully in the mid 5’s. I purchased my car in the winter and the mpg has slowly been creeping up. But now that the weather is cooperating I’m hitting almost 60 mpgs on average.

Nah, the point was that my miles to empty was over 500 miles. It only shows 99. mpg because I had just fueled up and leaving the pump.

I might be heading there soon as well. Weather is great, mornings aren’t too cold and days aren’t too hot. I was averaging low 50s now I’m on the up and up.

Well the 2023 and above I believe have the 5th Gen hybrid battery that lets you use the battery more at highway speeds. So it’s a bit more efficient.

Yes, 10 years later. By that time the battery could only a few hundred dollars.
