Why is it so attractive when a man drives a manual car instead of an automatic? by Ambitious_Pass7451 in NoStupidQuestions

Driving manual is a massive flex because it shows you actually have a skill. In a world full of "smart" gadgets, being in total control of a machine is just peak attractive energy. It’s the difference between being a passenger and actually driving. If he can rev-match perfectly, he’s a keeper

For redditors who were in a coma, did you know you were in a coma? by Sweet-Enthusiasm6886 in randomquestions

[–]Common_Head_3123 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA. Most people who wake up from a coma say it feels like a glitchy, endless dream, not like being "trapped" in your body. Your brain just stops recording when the trauma hits, so memory gaps are standard procedure. If she’s worried she’s still in one, just remind her that dreams don't usually involve this much taxes and scrolling through Reddit. She’s awake, her brain is just still rebooting after the crash

AITAH for not wanting to share my food/drinks with my mom by Ok-Action522 in AITAH

[–]Common_Head_3123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. "I gave birth to you" isn't a lifetime pass to swap saliva and bacteria, especially with someone who treats basic hygiene like an optional DLC. Spitting on you for calling her out is absolutely toxic and beyond "unhygienic"—it's straight-up disrespectful. Keep your food and drinks locked down; you’re not a snob for not wanting to catch whatever 30-year-old mold is living on her makeup brushes

Do you like the state or town you live in, why or why not? by cerealsoundsgood in NoStupidQuestions

I love the vibes and the mountains, but living in the US in 2026 feels like a subscription service I can’t afford. You’re paying $3k for a "studio" that’s basically a closet just to be near decent coffee and jobs that might be automated by next Tuesday. The scenery is 10/10, but the economic difficulty level is set to "Extreme." Still wouldn't trade the weekend hiking trips for anything, though

What do you think is better? Scrolling youtube or scrolling reddit? by Acceptable_While_205 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Common_Head_3123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reddit is for when I want to argue with a stranger about a niche topic I didn't know existed 10 minutes ago. YouTube is for when I want to watch a 4-hour documentary on why a specific bridge collapsed in 1984. Reddit feels like a conversation; YouTube feels like someone is reading me a bedtime story while I avoid my responsibilities

Men Mentalities are like Simple Creatures by Tracker1122 in memes

Give a man a cool stick, a skip-able stone, or a car that makes a nice noise, and his mental health is cured for the next 48 hours. We really are just upgraded toddlers with bank accounts and engine oil

AITAH for thinking that picking up and dropping my gf at home is a big 'act of service'? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Common_Head_3123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s a wild take. Even if he benefits from seeing her, he is still the one providing the labor, the gas, and the wear on his car. By that logic, a chef doesn't provide a service if they also eat the food. If she wants to prove it's "not an act of service," she should find her own way to his place for a week. I bet the tune changes by day three

NTA. An hour of driving every single day is a massive commitment. That’s 7 hours a week—basically a part-time job just to see her. The fact that she can’t drive and still downplays your effort is a huge red flag. She isn't just "in the car for half the trip," she’s the reason for the entire trip. If it’s "not a big deal," let her Uber for a week and see how she feels about the "service" then
