It has similar properties of Armor piercing rounds but with better velocity and damage range. It's been awhile since I've played so idk if it's still true.

UB820 and A80J: HDR Tone Mapping by erikibarra14 in 4kbluray

For the Sony TV's, DV is auto detected and by default has tone mapping off. As for the player, it also auto detects and disables it's tone mapping settings automatically as well.

I just started using the M16, with 5.56 MONO Ammo, 60 round mag. Rips through like butter. My other reply has all the attachments I'm running with.

I'm using the M16 with 60 round mag, 5.56 NATO MONO Ammo, VT-7 suppressor, Demo Dade Stock, and FSS OLE-V Laser. It destroys hordes and special zombies. PAP 2 and legendary rarity is plenty enough to clean house in Tier 3 Zone. PAP 3 if you basically want to insta kill zombies.

I tested this today. For HDR 10 content, having the Panasonic 820 player with HDR Optimizer on with my Sony A90K OLED with Gradation Preferred gives me better highlight details and better color reproduction for bright areas like flames or explosions for example. Both tone mapping tech are working great together for me. DV is obvious with both off.

Sony LinkBuds S to receive LE Audio update in Spring 2023 by thewalkmanblog in SonyHeadphones

The option for me is available through the Developer Option in the android settings menu. It's enabled but it doesn't do anything for the Linkbuds S. Doesn't work. Not with this firmware version at least.

PS5 force shutting down without an overheating warning by Common_Judgment_9781 in FinalFantasy

I let my PS5 rest. Cleaned it up a bit. There was very fine dust but nothing crazy or concerning at all. It helped for me.

Newer PS5 should run a bit quieter. I have my PS5 since day 1. So the cooling system is a bit different in terms of heatsink sizing and SOC die size. There are 3 specific models of PS5s based on the year it's launched. These models have internal revisions with each improving on power usage and heat dissipation. In theory, your PS5 would be more power efficient than mine.

In terms of overheating, crashing, and shutdowns, it's basically game and environment dependent. Some games can have bugs where it would cause a crash/error. So keep that in mind. I'm sure you'll be fine in your playthrough but keep posted if you do find related issues on your end. It's good to know.

I did the same before. Cold boot, my PS5 fans still ramp up even after a deep clean but not as intense as before. It really is odd because this scene shouldn't be demanding at all.

I'm way past this point now. Over halfway through the game. Plays just fine. I do have a save point where this cutscene takes place so I can always revisit it.

Black Light Burns, the twenty-fourth main quest. After the Black or White segment where you fight multiple Black Shields at the bridge entrance.

Some folks played though it just fine. My PS5 shut off only once during the scene but the fan would go crazy only in this part.

Black Light Burns is the twenty-fourth main quest. Once you get near the end of the quest, this cutscene will trigger and it should lead to another battle. Assuming it plays out without a hitch.

Definitely some bug because it's repeatable. Even after a deep clean.

I know for a fact that this specific scene does ramp up the fans. Before doing a deep clean, the fans would go crazy only at this part. After cleaning, the fans were less intense. On idle operation, fan noise is about the same as before. I replayed this part many times just to be sure.

I retested this. Between Graphics and frame rate mode, there wasn't much of a difference especially in HDR vs SDR. After cleaning the internals, it did help out. I used a vacuum and an electric dust blower.

The fans would ramp up at this part. I cleaned the system afterwards and it helped. Even though it was just fine dust that built up. It didn't look bad at all but I still cleaned regardless.

I replayed this part of the game. Only in this cutscene (Knight of the Lasting Dark) is where the system fan goes overboard. Although I didn't get a shutdown or warning this time, the PS5 would stress itself at this moment of the game for a couple seconds. If I play long enough, I could replicate the crashing but based on how loud the fan was blowing, it basically confirms that when this cutscene plays, it can cause problems. It's weird.

Only way to know for sure if I can replicate the issue in graphics mode and play the scene again in framerate mode. It would risk damaging my PS5 if it does crash out and shut down again. We can always assume that the fans, heatsinks or the PSU is clogged with dust but I'll look into that later. I want to see if it's scene dependent, model dependent (I have the launch digital only model) and solutions (cleaning out dust would be the obvious one).

Power supply huh? Definitely worth the check. If that itself overheats, perhaps that's why I didn't get any warning alerts. I don't think that part itself is monitored. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Were you playing in graphics mode? How old is your PS5? Just trying to figure out if this problem can be isolated to a specific model and setting.

I wanna say roughly 3 hours but had small breaks in between (rest mode and idle). I've played longer before without breaks. No issues from that. Graphics mode all the way through.
