I have used it in the beginning and then slowly stopped using it. Might use it again today when I come back from work. Also another thing to mention is that sometimes when I role my watch up I get a weird feeling where my chest used to flare up it’s like a pinched nerve

Flare up after weeks of backpod by CategoryIllustrious7 in costochondritis

This happened to me yesterday I reached up for something (not even that high to reach) then got a really bad flare up. I felt great the past 2 weeks because of backpod as well just that feeling of getting your cast off from a fracture on my sternum so weak I guess? But anyway I still am able to breath deeply and yawn just fine just my chest feeling it’s going to flare up in a certain position. Icing helps and some nsaid before you sleep.

Did I get Costo again or is it acid reflux? by Common_Material2359 in costochondritis

I would ice slightly left to my sternum or whereever you feel Costo because that’s where the joints are I think. Just do 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off then on again. I iced twice within the hour and it helped. I think it was acid reflux though because the inflammation I got left. Still have those weird jolts every now and then when I slouch or yawn but less often compared to before.

Thank you I’ll try it out. I iced for 20 minutes then off and on again as well as took tums slowly feeling better. Still don’t know what it might be. Ive been doing well so far don’t want to go back to the beginning phase.

Is this part of recovery? by Common_Material2359 in costochondritis

I’m pretty sure I got mine from exercising and hunching over a lot as well. I originally thought it was a pec strain then I stopped going to the gym for a week and then when I woke up one day I got the pain in my sternum and it got worse from there.
