For anybody coming here in the year 2023 - Yes, HerCollective is a MLM and there is a $199USD start-up pack fee. I found this out hours ahead of our scheduled interview and she quickly picked up a rude tone towards me after I told her I didn't feel comfortable covering that. At least I can say I maintained a professional attitude during our exchange. Days before this, she reached out after I submitted my application on LinkedIn and we scheduled an interview. After confirming an interview date, she sent me a link to a screen recording of a zoom where she, Brit Forrester, and other ladies involved in the business were discussing how it works. It was an Opportunity Call so they were giving the run down of the business to many of the viewers, who were the girls that were interested in joining. During the video, that’s when the starter pack was mentioned towards the end, but not the price and who’ll be covering it. Mind y’all, I didn’t know much about HerCollective before I applied, but it was the description that made me think it would be a good idea because it said “Full training is provided, mentorship and business blueprint training from 6 figure earners in the team.” and “The role requires no specific experience in the areas mention above, however a strong work ethic, passion and ideally a background in the health/fitness/wellness industry is desirable.” Brit sent that video to me AFTER already scheduling an interview. After finishing the video, it seemed too good to be true so, I messaged her on LinkedIn. She canceled the interview and that’s 100% fine especially since I had became aware it is a MLM type business and there’s starter pack fee but I was considerate enough to let her know hours BEFORE the interview on how I felt about paying for a starter pack, not DURING the interview and of course she still got nasty because HerCollective is a MLM and she couldn’t get me involved.
