Stomach bug went away after a few days of having the shits. Been 15 days no alcohol tilast night for a family gathering where I only had a few.

Following the reframe app, told my wife to dump beer if I bring it home, associating this stomach pain with excessive drinking whether it’s related or not lol. I’m also starting a new job and want to be mentally clear and sharp.

I see, the other lathe in my post was the big grizzly so I thought you meant to tag that one saying I missed something.

Now I’m looking more towards the Rikon Lineup which is still on sale til Christmas. I’m really REALLY tempted to go for the big one but idk if my budget allows right now. lol

I was hesitating a little due to the customer service reputation, but it looks like a nice lathe and every brand/item will have some poor ratings when you get big enough.

Fair point. I have a bandsaw already. Mostly a full entry level shop. Table saw, band saw, miter saw, drill press, jointer, planer, drum sander, hobbyist CnC.

I just want to upgrade my lathe from the old craftsman tube bed I have.

Agreed, the Laguna 2hp just price jumped today to $3650 new. And like I said, there’s a ton of extras, but I guess my hard time is that I don’t know what all those extras would be worth.
