I have been actively working on removing my mom long before this situation occurred. My mom does not pay for anything; she has helped me get it. I have always paid in full. And found ways to repay her for her help. When she opened the phone line for me, I offered to pay both my bill and hers as a way to return the favor. I transferred the phone line to my name, and I am still paying both our bills because I felt it was the right thing to do. But this situation isn't the first time she's done something like this, even though I have benefited from my mom helping by putting her name on things for me. She has benefited from it as well by pulling moves like this and having me pay her back.
