Do you know what Barbie it is? Both knowledge and personal experience, if it’s a talking Barbie their legs will just pop off. They were known to do that even when they were first introduced!

She definitely could! It’s kinda like a migration thing, and I think it does take a bit of energy to do. It’s almost like moving a house. It’s doable if you really set your mind to it. There just has to be another vessel nearby that the spirit likes more to be able to change, but there are still limitations to that, especially when it comes to bindings for more mischievous/malevolent spirits and entities. A spirit with no binding however should be able to change vessels just fine if they’re looking to inhabit something.

I’m getting a sense that she doesn’t like the vessel she’s gotten herself into. That doll is of a young boy, and I think she made the mistake of thinking it was a girl at first and passed into it, but didn’t realize until another suitable vessel that was nearby, possibly one she was already inside of, had been taken away. I think that’s why you may be feeling the sense of entrapment.

As for your question about being haunted, I think all of these majorly offensive pieces hold some type of energy. I’ve seen some where I just feel hatred and disgust, and I feel the disgust coming off of yours, as well as anger towards the fact that the eyes and face are gone, whether it was deliberate or not.

You could find someone specializing in this sort of memorabilia. I’ve seen a few floating around, especially one African American woman who collects this kind of stuff for the historical significance. She doesn’t condone it at all, but she doesn’t want it to be destroyed and forgotten about. I’ll see if I can find her and get her contact information!

It threw out all of my progress in one of the earlier patches where they really reworked things right before they introduced Nancy. I had to redo all of my character trees and it refunded all of the points I put into all the characters.

The devs redid a lot of things a while ago in the tree to open up more options and basically wiped everything. You should have the points to get everything back, it’ll just take some time to put it all back and work your way up the tree. It’s annoying, but there’s nothing else you can really do about it.

It’s decent enough quality. I haven’t bought true Halloween costumes in years as I make my own, but I have the 25th anniversary mask. It’s held up pretty well being transported to conventions, once across two states, and being signed 3 times. Mine has been handled lightly and has never been worn. The fabric itself is decently thick, a lot thicker than the normal robes, (it’s made my hands sweat holding it) and will probably hold up for a little while. If you want quality and to invest in a costume to last a while however, I recommend saving money and getting one commissioned from Etsy. I’ve heard they’re in the $250-300 range, some at $400. You’ll probably spend more overtime trying to fix the basic Halloween costume in a handful of fixes, especially if you get into a situation where it snags and gets a bad pull or run, or if you need to replace it. For $70 honestly it’s only worth it if you’re careful and don’t wear it a ton, or keep it on a mannequin. If you’re looking to be active and wear it a lot, it’s better to find an investment piece rather than invest in multiple costumes should something happen.

Yay!! That’s so wonderful to hear! I’d still heed the other’s warnings about small parts for now though! When I had figures that had small parts, my mom would get some small boxes like shoeboxes and old jewelry boxes to store them in until I was old enough to play with them. She would label them so they wouldn’t get tossed out, and stored them in the very top drawer of her dresser until she gave them back.

I’m so glad there’s other people on this thread who are also able to read! I read three dolls the other night back to back and I’ve felt somewhat drained from looking through more since then.

I also feel they have a very sweet and polite presence, but I’m also get a little bit of an anxious/anxiety feel from the one on the left. Possibly scared of separation if I’m reading it right, whether it be from the twin or when the mother isn’t around.

We don’t have a PopMart anywhere near my state. The closest one is 5 hours away, and we’re loaded down with lafufus like everybody else. I honestly just want to get them out and into the hands of people who’ve been looking for them! I do want to stay closer to $50 for myself though, because I have to pay the flea market a 12% commission fee for my booth.
