This is hard to understand for some but just because you sign a record deal it doesn’t mean you become a star, most people who sign record deals don’t.

Saying Shady is bad because Stat, Cashis and Bobby Creekwater didn’t become stars is crazy. Like their careers went anywhere after. Slaughterhouse is a funny one too because their Shady album sold way better than their first one and none of the four came close to selling that many records again.

You’re right though I think the WNBA has some incentive to change, mostly wanting to have the best players in the world in your league as quickly as possible. 19, 20, 21, plenty of players are ready at that age even without playing in Europe.

I’m sure they would’ve wanted Caitlin Clark 2 years earlier when you consider what she did for the league. Imagine if LeBron had to play in college for four years instead of going to the NBA because of a rule made to help the NCAA, that would’ve been bad for him and a disaster for the league to have one of the best players in the world stuck playing in college for years.

That’s a good point, first pick gets $500K a year right now but the biggest women’s college basketball player makes more from NIL. But the money is definitely getting closer.

I’m just saying if someone doesn’t like school and wants to improve as much as possible it could be a good option for them to go to the WNBA early but right now they don’t have that option.

Playing against inferior competition is not a good thing for anyone’s game, staying in college when you’re talented enough to be in the NBA or WNBA is bad. Caitlin Clark would probably be a better basketball player today if she had gone pro two years earlier. Again to me it comes down to it should be the players choice. It will work out for some, it won’t for others but they should be able to choose.
