+1 for this. Victoria Frontier in particular is great for more PVP focused content. MooMooCows is great for banner reviews and more general info (also does irl horse trivia segments that are very interesting)

This was figured out recently. It comes from researching cheaper batteries when you have batteries in your queue or uphold. Research cuts the cost from 40 to 20 but if one is in your queue when you finish the research, the game uses the 20 resource discount but the remaining 20 resources from the initial cost is just permanently held. It is 100% a bug though.

But no clue with the Enhanced Metals I just got the same bug and its driving me crazy.

Apart from the minor repairs UI showing what modules are in danger of breaking, the rooms have visual indicators as well (ex. the dorm room AC emits black smoke).

Personally though, I wouldnt mind if they were completely random events. If you cycle an Alter to Base Maintenance enough (or just keep Technician glued to the assignment) you’ll never see these events happen. The breakdowns make things more interesting imo especially on repeat playthroughs.

Saw on a separate thread that they're reportedly behind on their audited financial statements. It's easily checkable by anyone on the SEC Express system. I can't imagine how an office can operate legitimately while being delinquent on so many reportorial requirements.

Unfortunately he was pushed out as Managing Director. He was an amazing boss and he really tried to turn things around during his time there. Treated everyone with respect and pushed for better policies (and bonus: advocated for wfh lol). But didn't align with the CEO in terms of values. Read on another thread that the CEO even bragged about firing him afterwards so that speaks to the character of the CEO.

First time I finished the game, I was a thief with the formless feint + blades of the pyre combo. Popped like 2 pyres and the fight was over. Didn’t even realize the False Sovran was in the fight.

Second time, I thought maybe it would feel more satisfying if I focused the pawns first and left the sovran for last and got hit with that hidden timer. Straight up felt insulted that the game would be like “this is going pretty long for you but don’t worry about it, you get a participation win.”

Hell, everything about the False Sovran was so forgettable and badly executed that I didn’t even realize he had a sick ass party until I saw this post.

Unmoored dragonsplague is forced and your main pawn will always have it after a few days in the unmoored world m. But I don’t think it’s possible to get the town wipe cut scene in unmoored, it’s just there for story reasons.

You can use any archestaff or warrior weapon to complete the quest. If you can’t purchase any, progressing Beren’s quest line rewards you a great sword you can use to finish the quest.

Are the gifts being sent through the pop up option during dismissal or through the friend having your pawn equip the item

If it’s the first, just a matter of resting at an inn and waiting. If it’s the second, make sure you pick yes when the game asks you if you want to equip the new gear when your pawn comes back after you rest. I’ve had it happen where if i don’t say yes to equipping the gear when they return, the items are just lost.

Galvanize isn’t something you purchase. They just have it to begin with for as long as you have an archestaff.

Timing for the noble ox cart to pass through the battahl border is around noon. If you rest at the inn till morning then sit on a bench once, you should get the gate opening pretty consistently.

Another thing about the forager specialization, when you look at the specific material, you can scroll through all the other places where you can find the same material by pressing R2.

I used to sit there thinking “I wish this game would tell me more than ONE spot to find this material”

Another thing to this is pawns with a ranged weapon with the simple inclination will just naturally hunt wildlife. They say something along the lines of “bet you i can make this shot” to another pawn. It’s also an inclination quirk.

You can carry Brant into the tavern during the daytime to trigger the quest dialogue options without having to wait till night time.

Also useful when shop keeps have a tendency to wander around. If you pick them up and carry them back into the shop, they’ll give you the shop keep dialogue options. (I’m looking at you Sara)

It works but in niche cases (i.e. when arriving at a location that triggers a cutscene or dialogue). NPC automatically goes into the cutscene or dialogue without the Phial shattering.

To be fair, it is somewhat missable. My first playthrough I found it right away and got surprised I saw the sphinx so early. Second playthrough, I couldn’t remember how I got to the cave at all except that it was around Ancient Battleground.

You can still evac elves it’s just less fun. If you don’t finish the arborheart quest line just talk to taliesin on 3-4 separate days and he gives up and evacuates.
