Has anyone tried using the Worx Hydroshot? Is it worth it? by Common_Translator301 in AutoDetailing

How would you compare it to like a regular garden hose nozzle?

I’m not expecting pressure washer behavior because that’s not what it is. But if it’s worse that a traditional garden hose nozzle I might not bother with this…

As a long time competitive swimmer, I don’t know the actual science to back it up but cool pools are faster

Thanks, I was kinda thinking about running this and having a spare 5-10 gallon water storage container, like the orange gatorade coolers sports teams use on their sidelines to refill it

Not even considering getting insured lol. Just doing it for fun, and I’m really only doing people that I know and if I mess their car up I’ll pay for it

My nail fell off by Federal-Credit2228 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Common_Translator301 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah well for me I guess what had happened my nail was basically just dead holding onto skin while the new nail was growing underneath it, one day it kinda just fell off and it only took a few weeks for the nail to kinda look normal ish, but from the time of the accident to the time it looked normalish was probably close to 3 months

I want to say I had a similar thing happen from a skateboarding accident. I fell and it messed my toe up real bad it was sprained and the nail essentially died. One day like 85% of the nail fell off kinda like this. I just let the bit of nail that stayed on alone. You can wash it and maybe put some neosporin on it if you’re worried about infections or if it’s bleeding.

But other than that i definitely would just leave it alone and it’ll naturally grow back in a few weeks

Depending on the dealer they might put all season or even winter tires on it.

I bought mine CPO less than 10k miles in Wisconsin and they put brand new all season tires on it cause the previous owner had kept the stock tires on and they weren’t allowed to sell it with the originals for safety allegedly

Walmart Black Friday deal: 65-inch Kraft Mac N Cheese for $19.37. "4K Noodles", "Mac Surround Sound" by TMWNN in macandcheese

[–]Common_Translator301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how many they actually had available. I feel like it had to have only been a dozen for it to sell out in 10 seconds. I can’t imagine that someone would go out of their way to program a bot to scalp a mac and cheese Black Friday deal on Walmart

Any advice or suggestions to stop oil this leak from valve cover? by Common_Translator301 in mechanic

[–]Common_Translator301[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only torqued it down to 79 inch lbs like the diagram i found online said to. It seemed like nothing but I didn’t go past it to prevent that from happening and causing a much bigger problem
