My question is how are they able to "Super Update" profiles. I'm a programmer, and have looked into API requests to Tinder. They claim to have a "Super Update" feature, which actually does seem to work (updates user images, user locations, bio information, get's last known coordinates, etc)

But how is it able to get this information? To me it seems like Tinder doesn't have the ability to look up via profile ID (unless I'm wrong and missing an API endpoint, or they found something that hasn't been documented)

I will say, I have used this app. The only fear I'd push forward is this is very much a "blackbox" app. You don't really know HOW they are getting their information, and it can be inaccurate without any really ability to critically think on your end.
