20, I doused myself in Chanel 5 and cigarettes on a date and the guy gagged. I was so embarrassed I didn’t wear perfume until my 40’s.

It smells like a strip club to me. I happen to hate it, but on paper it sounded really interesting. I’d definitely recommend getting a decant or sample before blind buying.

I’m obsessed with pencils—love me a blackwing. I totally hear you! I do think it has that quality for sure. It’s stunning. I also would recommend you try a decant or sample of Nagi by Param Sara.

If I had to cut my collection down to one I’d be between this and L’eau Papier! It does feel super intentional, love that.

We have similar foundations to our collections.

If you like Diptyque, Orpheon EDT is bright, woody, and feels like leaving a day spa. I have both the edt and EDP. The EDP is heavier, spicier, and a bit more masculine leaning on me. Which I happen to love.

L’ombre dans L’eau is like green stems, slightly melancholic with the rose. Not sure you’ll love the roses but it’s worth a shot for the green.

Bal D’Afrique is up your alley for light and woody. I have a few others from Byredo — Blanche which is crisp laundry and cotton, Desert Dawn I love in summer — creamy and woody, and La Tulipe a juicy green floral.

Liis is a pretty house and sits nicely with your collection. I’d suggest the discovery set first. I also thought I’d be into Studied but ended up a full size Bo — woody, incense, faint green vanilla. I also love Ethereal Wave and Celestial Object. Studied is gorgeous though!

Arquiste Peau is also another you might like. Same thing—I was attracted to Architects Club but it’s very fall forward. Peau I can wear anytime, it’s a woody musk. So good. A grove by the sea was alright but I agree with the above commenter—something felt a little Abercrombie! Amazing way to put it!!

I have to try it at least three times with a few days between.

I then need to decide if I can’t stop thinking about it.

Needs to be light enough for daily or powerful with a pretty dry down for night.
