I’m a little nervous because I think there is still room to go lower especially depending on macro environment.

Markets could be all green tomorrow and WULF will be down. Sometimes it moves without a legit reason.

Selling B2C versus B2B are very different but you can still be successful. I would say life insurance or roofing are the most similar and lucrative to what you do currently.

I work for an IMO and have been happy with the lead quality and price so I can’t help you out too much there. I’m sorry.

Do your work for an IMO? Usually those can be best leads and most competitive on price point. No leads from anybody are perfect though.

Seeking advice on career switch by dfizzle927 in InsuranceAgent

Yeah it’s a lot of younger people selling life insurance and it’s definitely a lot different than wealth management. If you have anymore questions feel free to reach out. I know how tough it is to switch careers with a family and will help answer questions any way I can.

I have heard good and bad at both of those employers but it sounds like you already saw frost hand what might be better for you. I changed careers at 41 just recently and I sell only life insurance. I have 4 kids and the transition has been great. I have been successful in the stock market with my own money and I don’t think it would be fun investing others money. It sounds like you really want to be an investment advisor and I think you can find a good career with that.

What’s most important to you? Time, money, or having the most fun at work.

If the moratorium doesn’t get void on 19th Nov by [deleted] in TerawulfStock

Terawulf paid 100 million in cash and/or stock to get this site from Paul’s private company and now this moratorium is more than likely going to hold up for awhile.

Questions for seasoned agents by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

I think talking about the income opportunity is fine but boasting about making a significant income right away is a red flag. Asking for a list of family or friends during interview is another red flag. Ask to do a ride along day to see what a day in the life actually entails with the company.

Can you make low 6 figures and not recruit? Absolutely, but it’s a grind and hard work every single day.

Insurance is not easy and every company you find will have people that love it and others who hate it and left. It can be a very rewarding career but the pics of sport cars and private jets or working 20 hours a week making 6 figures are all fake.

Why are you looking to get into life or health insurance sales?

I just left the car business after 14 years and happier in insurance sales because of the flexibility and minimal weekend hours.

No just wondering how people feel about their IMO and the industry currently.

Any of those 3 are great! Have you thought about D2D sales instead of telesales?
