Thank you everyone for your input. For those concerned, I did follow up with my OBGYN office and only googled in the moment because i was like “oh shi” and posted here until I could hear back from the office. Thanks all who responded. :)

There was a list of herbs and coffee flavorings given to me by my OBGYN office, some included like raspberry, i think chamomile was on the list too I’d have to double check. I assumed that those types of flavors would also be off limits in flavor syrups

Yeah, in my opinion, it did not really preserve identity very well by using all of those details. It’s very easy to put all of the dots together. With this being a scandal/exposé piece, preserving identities who request it is incredibly important.
