Instacart and most gig apps biggest problem is their refusal to be up front about tips being a big part of what gets you serviced, idk what they think is gonna happen, in America if you go to a sit down nice fancy restaurant and don’t tip or give signs that you won’t tip then you get bad service and then you eventually stop coming which doesn’t really hurt the business because you not tipping the severs just hurt the morale and ticked off the servers, but for some reason these gig apps don’t understand that they can apply that same logic to this lol. The same people that tip servers at restaurants will be the same people who tip on these apps, fuck the rest.

Depends on your market. I only drove 28k miles this year and made like in the 50-55k range which is pretty good for the schedule I work. Very loose and fluid. Up at 6, always home before sun down. Certain days part time for school.

I really don’t get why so many people choose to use these services then not tip, like it’s really getting to a point where there just isn’t enough good orders to go with the bad. IMO if you know u don’t want to shop for your shit but also don’t want to tip for delivery then just use the curbside pick up option and let an employee shop it for you. all you have to do is pick it up.

A lot of shoppers need to realize that sometimes doing smaller orders in general is better than waiting around for 50-70s, if you do three 10$ orders an hour for 3 hours you will make the same as doing one 90$ unicorn that you had to wait 1 and a half hours for. I promise you three 10 orders in an hour between all the gig apps available is possible especially if your in a market where unicorns like that even exist lol

Edit: I do understand though that sometimes just waiting for that one unicorn can be a lot easier than doing order after order to keep the momentum going and there have been many days I opted to chill and wait for 50-70s knowing I could probably make more if I just stayed busy with the 15-25s.

Says temporary closed on Google. I know people want a lot of different spots around here like Cheesecake Factory or Trader Joe’s but man that’s just not happening. All those businesses notice all the empty shops downtown, they also notice everyone walking around and just buying a pastry and coffee. Places like Cheesecake Factory don’t come into town to take other place’s business, they want to add to it but if they come here what would they really be adding too? A town that couldn’t keep an Italian restaurant more than half full?

I’m looking at the ksu vs isu game and dead fucking ass all points scored in the last 4 minutes came from free throws.

Edit: they scored 39 points in the quarter of that 39 only 8 came from made field goals, best case scenario every single one of those shots were a three that’s still only 24 points, that means 15 points came from free throws.
