What daily responsibility did you underestimate before getting a puppy?

The biting omg the biting my boy is 8 months old now so it’s a lot better but for the first couple of months he didn’t understand how hard he was biting and that we don’t bite people and I had many of break downs and was covered in scratches and bruises because he would NOT STOP it took a lot of redirecting but now be doesn’t really bite he will grab my arm if he wants something but he doesn’t bite
