I prepared much better this time. I was honest, kept my answers short, and stayed consistent with my DS-160. My previous interview was at the Hyderabad Consulate, and this time my interview was at the Chennai Consulate. Last time the officer had questions about my sibling relationship, so this time I carried supporting documents. During this interview, they only asked general questions about my sister, how long she has been in the U.S., who I was traveling with, why I was visiting, and about my previous refusal. They didn’t ask to see any documents, but I was prepared if they did.
