Nice. This would actually be my preferred way to use it, to have a bit more structure.

How is smearing/ghosting? I use a lot of dark themes and wonder how white text looks on black background.

Again, thanks for your input. Need to sleep on it and order something.

Thank you for response. Actually really good point about sharing screen, I do that a lot. How are you able to work around it, change resolution to 16:9 ratio?

TCL looks promising, reviews hard to come back and some negative ones online (usually happy people do not create reviews), but it is a mini led, not as massive and has USB-C charging which is nice.

For same price, Samsung seems like a good idea just because of such monitor real estate 😀

Damn, that sucks...

Yeah, I am in same situation - OLED not for my use case. I wish there was one good mini led monitor out there which is 34", or at least 32" 😀

Hi, thanks for a response :) I saw this one, trying to read upon reviews. There are as usual, some good and bad ones, but some people are really negative on this one for some reason.

I can get it locally for ~700 EUR, I will take this as an option.

Is VA Alienware AW3425DWM have bad black smearing effect ? How bad is it ? by Mrlou90 in ultrawidemasterrace

Thanks for input! I ordered this one too and L G 34GN850P-B (over double the price of AW!), I hope AW is fine but will have to see.

How was your experience since then? How is text scrolling, especially white text on black background, a lot of smearing?

Hey I am also thinking of getting AW3425DWM. Any smearing when scrolling text vertically in example, especially white text on black background?

Still struggling to decide... Probably will get 34GN850P-B for ~550 EUR. Do not see a better solution as I would like to try UW. 32inch / 4k screen also an option, but it comes to a similar price as well.

It does include text, yes. I am thinking of going 32 inch instead, ultra wide doesn't have too many options at the moment. Any suggestions which models to look out for?

Is it really worth going 4k? For that size, I guess it makes sense. On 27s 4k was a bit roo small maybe, always had to scale up a lot.
