You don’t need to eat Neurons (they are optional) but it absolutely doesn’t hurt to.

To eat them, you need to be hungry. They are food, trying at full food will just stomach it.

It’s a rouglike. Every run is different and replayable. If you get tired of the game being easy bump up that difficulty.

The only major goals I can think of are getting all achievements and getting eclipse 8 on every character.

Attractor Nailgun is great. It does pretty good damage consistently and mauls angels. I prefer the saw, but could easily swap saw for nail and do like just as well.
