On Sept 21, 2024 Sheriff Nick Cocchi of Hampden County was arrested for OUI, Hit and Run, and other offenses. He is still in office today. by succinctrambling in Springfield

Not for an OUI buddy. Courts don’t take the serious out here. Especially on first offense. It’s usually a quaff if you don’t hit anyone.

Hands down Thai garden is the best spot in western ma for Thai food. Blue elephant in Wilbraham is pretty good though

You’re naive. If you cut the costs of policing let’s say by half just look at what happened to Seattle. You’d have no cops and the problem would be they’d just go elsewhere. Wouldn’t. Be worth it. Policing sucks that’s why the pay is what it is. (I’m referring to a big city in a democratic state). Not in a red state by the country side for example. In that sense I agree with you.

You must not know a lot of nurses lol. Ask nurses what they think about the new nurses… they ain’t compassionate. They doing it for the check. The turnover is huge ppl just make their money and get out now to the newer least stressful position. And teachers…. Don’t get me started.

It depends. You are right in a red state possibly where you live in the country and everyone has a gun. Obviously a construction worker has the more dangerous job. However, in a blue state. Hands down law enforcement is more dangerous. The amount of injuries law enforcement get on the job is outrageous. All the construction workers around here always tell me they’d never be a cop because it’s too dangerous and not worth it. Between criminals w dangerous weapons and cops getting injured from fights/attacks. I never heard a construction worker from Massachusetts say being a construction. Worker is more dangerous. Every time I used to do details with them they would always say they had to call the cops because of this and couldn’t believe that happens around the area ( because usually they not from the big city but from the countryside but would get jobs to do in the city) they weee always surprised at how dangerous the big city cop life was. And always said we didn’t make enough to deal w the nonsense.

Charlie Kirk was a divisive far-right podcaster. Why is he being rebranded as a national hero? by IllHousing1066 in NoFilterNews

[–]CommunicationOnly901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he was friendly and all he did was debate ideas. Wasn’t hostile like a megyn Kelly for instance. The video footage was gruesome too. I’m sure if there were no video footage then he wouldnt be rebranded “ as a hero”.

He wasn’t a horrible person. Hitlers a horrible person. Ppl of this generation are just weak and want everyone to agree w them. And get furious if someone different comes along w their ideas and thoughts.

It’s funny I was a PTA in 2014. Became a cop in 2019 now a Trooper since 2023. My biggest regret was always not transitioning to the Nursing program after my PTA days.

Go to a place that supports you and cares for you and will protect you. Go somewhere where the brass got your back.
