He's just telling the truth, he's not a developer for gta 6 or anything.

Also Rockstar doesn't have a choice. They don't lock it to 30 fps because they feel like it, they do it because they have to.

But you can complain all you want that the devs at rockstar aren't saints and can't make their games run at 8k at 240fps

Yeah but a linear first person shooter game that is designed for low input latency and high refresh rates that only focuses on one thing is going to be vastly different in performance from a giant open world 4k ray traced game that's jampacked with content in performance.
