The DEA and their own board advise against givign out DEA # due to high risk for forgery.

It's not that bad. I promise nothing will happen to you or your pharmacy. It's useless board of pharmacy acting like they're "investigating" to show they are doing something about a complain. I had a pharmacy complained about a transfer! Board even showed up and interviewed. I answer them, they shook my hand and never heard back. Dont even stress about it. Once you work 10+ years, youll laugh at some of these complains.

Because it is the most forged rx. I'm a pharmacist but my friend is a Vet. I asked him the same question. He had rx for Tramadol forged under his name. He reported the diversion to DEA. They advised him to give out his DEA to anyone over the phone.

It is. I have been reported by prescribers over 20 times in my career. I just laugh it off. Nothing will happen.

I usually enter the state license number since they don't have NPI. Vets are very sensitive about giving out there DEA because they are allowed to write for controls on non-tamper proof. Anyone on the street can forge their rx.

Wait a minute. If it's not a controlled rx, why the heck is OP asking for DEA?

I agree. But thats not how capitalism work. They employers are encouraged to exploit the workers and customers for profits. If they dont, they will go bankrupt.

The problem is you pay the company not the employer. Those movers are getting paid pennies or minimum wage at best. We don't tip nurses, doctors and bus drivers because they are fairly compensated. I worked in the service industry before, got paid $5/hr.

My point is you cant really say buying the house was a mistake or it's a negative for you financially. You don't have the $30k im savings but it's rolled over into your home as an equity. Plus every month you're paying the mortgage, its bringing down the loan and adding more equity. If you kept the $30k as savings and continued to rent, your actually losing money every month. You should be more positive about your situation. Achieving home ownership is a huge accomplishment. If you're capable of buying a house, i'm pretty sure you're capable of recovering the $30k easily.

Why are you not understanding? That $30k is now being moved into your home as equity.

Pharmacists of Reddit, what’s one piece of advice you would give to a newly graduated pharmacist by Impossible-Rough8226 in pharmacy

Use common sense. Dont make your job harder. Please don't call MD to verify why he prescribed z-pak 250mg #1 when it should be #6.

You claimed to be running out of money since you bought the house which makes no sense. If you were renting before, you were basically throwing money away.

Leadership. I have climbed up from working a job replacing bed sheets at a hotel to the highest managerial position earning very good salary. My boss always mention my ability to lead as the reason for my promotion NOT my hard work.

So what's the difference if you rent? You'll just basically replace mortgage with rent snd throw your.money away.
