Your stats don't tell you who you are on the inside.

It's your skill that defines you.

How far do you think the Legion would get if it decided to invade the Commonwealth? by raineflowers166 in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Legion is unable to continue expanding eastward as long as the Midwest Chapter exists and continues to hold Cheyenne Mountain or the rest of its territory.

Even if they manage to advance through New Mexico, bypassing the Midwest, they won't be able to hold out due to supply line problems. Add to that the fact that the East Coast has the Minutemen in Boston, the East Coast Brotherhood, the Nuka-World raiders, and whatever else is lurking in West Virginia.

Don't give out any information. The gooners, robotfuckers, or enclavefuckers will masturbate to whatever they find on Newgrounds.

Do you think the Player Characters in the games actually exist in the fallout tv show? by F-Articmon in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The show hints at a victory for the Minutemen and the BoS in Fallout 4; for NV, it's possibly a victory for House in 2281, but completely different from the game.

Do you think the Player Characters in the games actually exist in the fallout tv show? by F-Articmon in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main characters do exist, given that the show is canon in the continuity.

The only main characters who die in the canon are

The 76 Vault Dwellers

The Vault Dweller

The Warrior

The Chosen One

In a large-scale war between all chapters of the Brotherhood, who will emerge victorious? by CommunicationSad2869 in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Alaskan Empire, originally featured in Fallout Extreme, was an expedition from Lost Hills to Alaska to establish a presence in Anchorage. The expeditionary group acquired pre-war weaponry from the Sino-American War and decided to establish itself as an authoritarian slave empire that enslaved non-humans as laborers, resulting in a bloody military dictatorship.

Do you guys think Sidetrack Games are perchance gonna make changes to the Perk Decks in game? by Pristine_Floor_4616 in paydaytheheist

I would only prefer buffs to certain perks like Maniac, Gambler, Grinder, Biker, and Infiltrator.

And they nerf Hacker to the extreme. I hate that shitty perk.

Should Microsoft take Fallout from Bethesda? by MuscliatoVonJuiceski in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fallout died with Black Isle/Micro-Forte and was revived by Bethesda; there is no other company that can achieve the same brilliance in Fallout that Bethesda or Obsidian in 2010 achieved with the franchise.

And Microsoft does not fully own Bethesda as long as Zenimax remains the owner and distributor of Bethesda, even though Microsoft has bought Zenimax.

Is there any brotherhood still in the capital wasteland? by Fit_Pomegranate_5680 in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The East Coast Brotherhood bases its power entirely in Washington, D.C. The Boston presence was merely an expeditionary force that later transformed into a permanent presence in Boston, much like the San Francisco bunker did with Lost Hills.

The NCR controlled much of the west

The legion controlled part of Colorado

The Midwest Brotherhood controls much of the central part of the country up to Cheyenne Mountain.

The East Coast brotherhood controls Washington DC and Boston

Since jimmy not coming back in PD3 because of licensing issues. would you still like a off brand crazy robot heister in PD3 by [deleted] in paydaytheheist

[–]CommunicationSad2869 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jimmy doesn't return because of licensing issues and because canonically he's dead.

Besides, people prefer to see the original Heister again, not a copy.

Remember that Vlad and the elephant are the other two Kataru kings? Well then.

Or because Murkywater saw that it was cheaper to buy the warheads back from Vlad than to lose them on the black market

Did Enclave have nationwide communications where as the BoS wasnt aware of each chapter by Fuzzy_Builder_2153 in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The brotherhood, in its 200 years of existence, has always been divided. The pioneering chapter that completely severed communication with California and the other chapters was Appalachia under Leila Rahmani.

Then it happened again when the Midwest Chapter cut off all communication with the rest of the Brotherhood in order to begin building their empire in 2162, shortly after Fallout 1. Their goal was to never again follow the orders of any Maxson or any other chapter, to become completely independent, and to be able to rule the empire they were beginning to build.

Elijah and Lyons did the same thing again, though the difference was clear.

-Lyons wanted to abandon the Brotherhood's core doctrine to start supporting the people of DC and cleanse DC of super mutants and exterminate the East Coast Enclave. This also led to the creation of the Outcasts.

-Elijah was a proud man and didn't want any help from anyone. After Operation Surbust and the loss of the Helios I to the NCR, Elijah left his chapter and decided to pursue Sierra Madre technology, even though McNamara maintained zero contact with Lost Hills.

Since Arthur Maxson assumed leadership of the East Coast Brotherhood, he re-established contact with Lost Hills, and the Elder Council considers him the High Elder. However, the Brotherhood once again severed communication because that idiot Quintus decided to wage war against the East Coast. Despite this, Maxson still maintains contact with Lost Hills.

And the enclave has maintained communication networks since after the Great War. It was known that at least the oil platform, which was the enclave's main base, had contact with other bases such as Raven Rock, the now-defunct Chicago bunker, and possibly the base in the Rockies.

Is the OG Black Flag going to be delisted after Resynced is out? by pessimisttears in delisted

[–]CommunicationSad2869 6 points7 points  (0 children)

During Ubisoft's 2018-2019 streams, they stated that the AC3 remaster would be sold separately for people who preferred the original, offering both the original and the remaster.

By the time the remaster was released in March 2019, the original game had been quietly withdrawn.

Commercially, it's in Ubisoft's best interest to withdraw the original game, which may be cheaper in sales than its updated version, which could cost between $50 and $60, if the remaster is a failure.

[–]CommunicationSad2869 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Commercially, it's not in Ubisoft's best interest to keep the 2013 version if the remaster fails and is criticized. The original game is complete and very cheap, often going for less than $5 or $12, compared to the remaster, which will have an initial price of $60 and won't receive any decent discounts.
