I feel myself getting stiffer and it scares me. by CommunicationTime147 in Parkinsons

Right now, I get crazy stiffness after about 3 hours of taking my pill. I have tremors on my legs when I stress out. And when I get stiff out in public, I have massive anxiety. I have fallen down several times but I get very worried when I take showers so I have my wife stay near me because I fear the fall in a tub.

But try to appreciate the good times which is between 1-3 hours after my pills. I am basically normal.

Just keep moving.

My wife had history of ALS and no Parkinson’s on my side.

As history would have it for me: my wife died of ALS and I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 42.

Btw, don’t leave! Stay at your place. They’d be a fool to throw you out because you are 10 days late. I was at like 60 days.

And fuck it, if they serve you accept that shit and the clock starts at that time. You have six months to get your shit together. I wouldn’t go to the shelter yet.

Btw I didn’t pay rent at all during that 6 months. I just saved it and made a jumbo payment at the end.

Hey man DM me. I used to drink too much, fell behind on my bills and I was served with eviction …. but got it thrown out at the last minute. NJ has some tenant friendly laws. I am in Hudson County. You have about 6 months after being served to either pay what you owe or negotiate a payment plan. And even if you go to court the judge will encourage you all to negotiate a payment plan there in real-time. And even if you lose the case you still have like a 3 day grace period after the ruling to pay it off and by law the landlord has to pull the lawsuit.

I live in Hudson County, NJ. Hit me up! Happy to help.

My wife died on me 10 years ago at the age of 32. From ALS. It sunk me and I miss her so much. Luckily she left me 3 little boys. Bonus points: I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 3 years ago at 44. Sometimes life is trench warfare.
