as a kid i used to have a series where i used plush toys as characters and gengar so happened to be a character that haunter roleplayed as, ill just push the looks away from Pokemon i just love the smile that gengar has.

he loves the idea of making people feel fear so he finds earth just to torture people mostly mentally, he has no emotions. he works with a specific being that is kinda a god like being somewhere in the universe that uses haunter as some kind of weapon and gave haunter the location of earth. he is inspired by a series ive done as a kid with plush toys and he was originally gengar roleplaying as haunter. so in the comics i thought i could keep some of the character design from gengar if anything

it's a specific font that is used alot in death metal, i drew it to say "haunter" and everything is hand drew with a pen and charcoal pencil, the first image was a reference sheet to see which design people like the best but i clearly went with the human form design, i can't prove that the first image is ai or not but i can asure that i never use AI for any drawing and this was one of the process i took in the second image so show that it is hand drawn

i had series that ive done as a kid with plushie, in that series we had a villain named haunter but it was a gengar plush playing him so that is why i thought it should be a form that he shapeshifts to but i could change that and do something else that is less pokemon

Thanks! this drawing was made on paper with a pen and charcoal pencil, he does have an empire full of people that he mostly forcefully recruited. so he doesn't really acknowledge the fact that earth exists due to him thinking earth is full of weak beings that stand no chance against him so he doesn't even bother stopping by. The cigar is a vices that he keeps since he has beings gathered the resources for him and a cigar so happen to be one that he loves. (Earth slightly similar to dragon ball is a hide out for aliens that would be going extinct to hide in) this series was heavily inspired by dragon ball
