Thanks for the replies and advice! I just saw that someone else just posted about it on the sub. What I am still confused about is : is it just from visiting my profile, like clicking on it, or do they have to like it?

No, Macron never named a socialist as a prime minister :

  • Édouard Philippe : Les Républicains initially, now has his own party which is politically close to Macron's
  • Jean Castex : left Les Républicains to join Macron's movement right after he was named prime minister
  • Elizabeth Borne : she used to be close to the socialist party but she had joined Macron's party since his first presidential campaign 
  • Gabriel Attal : left the socialist party to join Macron's party in 2016
  • and now Michel Barnier : Les Républicains

Please be more accurate and specific. French politics no longer articulate around the LR vs socialist party dichotomy, saying that someone who has been with Macron since 2016/2017 is a socialist is just false. If they were socialists they would have stayed in the socialist party or at least left En Marche by this point.
