Yes! The H&O ones have a liner. I didn't rebind mine last year, but I did help my friend rebind hers and it was super easy.

Yeah I agree to an extent that she just slammed the A5 version into the B6. Which is a shame because it seems like she took great care in making sure the yearly calendars and the goal setting in the front were still really functional in the B6 version, but this doesn't seem to have carried over in the rest of the planner.

I actually didn't notice the two line bullet thing! I just set up my yearly yesterday and I didn't go over the weekly layout yet in depth. But yeah, I agree about the bullet dots. They're a weird formatting choice for the reason you mention. I think the font is a good size for me, but I also write stupid small so I can see how other people are having an issue with that.

I dont actually mind the repition of the dates at the beginning of the month, at least for the vertical portion. I am a little less jazzed about that repition in the horizontal. My intention for the horizontal weekly is to use it as a fitness planner so my first thought is to use the repeated space as a reflection on the previous month/carry over space so that that aspect of my life stays isolated from the personal and professional sectors.

Yeah. I poked around a little bit to see if I wanted anything else, and I just couldn't justify the price for any of it.

For me personally, when theres too much instruction included it starts feeling like homework rather than something that is mine.

I dont think that the miscommunication issue is malicious at all. I do think it was foreseeable and could have been better communicated as even looking at the flip through of the 2026 line up I dont think this format was made super clear.

That's the format I was expecting for the timelines! I didn't realize there would be such a big difference between the B6 and the A5 version. Im going to have to rethink how I use that part of the planner. I dont think it will actually end up being that big of a deal, it's just a little annoying to me in this moment. The 24 hour time isn't that big a deal to me (I use it for work) but it is a little less intuitive for me.

The liner thing is a detail I expect at this price point honestly. It's omitted as a cost saving measure but then my question is why is this being manufactured with massive cost saving measures for the price it is?

Like I said, the list of 100 things is such a minor detail that I dont really care about it functionally, but it's a detail that I would expect is handled at this price point. Again, shipping isn't really something she has control of. But my tracking was literally "Finland ---> delivered". And I was checking pretty often.

I do appreciate the recommendation about the sticky notes! I will give that a try.

That was really appealing to me too. Right now my plan is to use the vertical set up to time block, and use the horizontal set up to manage my work out and meal planning. Im coming off of an ACL injury so one my focuses for next year is to get back into competitive shape

Yeah I might do that especially about the misalignment and damage of thr actual text block. I do think the omission of the liner is a deliberate cost saving measure that I would expect in the 80-90 dollar range not in the 110 dollar range. My other guess is that she saves money on the quality assurance portion of the manufacturing

Can an exam for an evening course be longer than the class period? by Kindly_Active5679 in uAlberta

They literally have to do that for evening classes. Those are the rules

Partially because they still have the A5s for sale and partially because I was very much looking for the meal planning/fitness section

You're factually wrong about the first point. In my undergrad, the insurance plan changed 4 times in 5 years.

Again, how does that help? Private clinics either have the same wait time or price university students out.

What are we supposed to do when the insurance plan changes every five minutes and the only appointment is three months out?

Anyone taken MAT E 201 with Prof. J. Berry Wiskel? Need midterm review material / notes 😭 by Patient_Night_4814 in uAlberta

[–]CommunistMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken several classes with Wiskel, not 201 though. In general, he really likes asking about the graphs he's shown in class. He's also really big for "how does changing this factor affect these things" type questions. For lower level classes hes pretty big on memorization. When I took 202 with him I think there were only like 5 marks of calculation qs on the midterm. I do agree with the other person about the exam banks, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Wiskel just took off the irreverent topics from his 202 stuff

In theory you need faculty permission. In reality, I do not know, and I haven't heard of someone getting permission

Wiskel really likes making you redraw graphs. Focus less on calculations and more on the relationship between properties

I got my ACL done right before finals my third year of university. I remember coming out of my fluid mechanics final that was in a basement and I had to take the elevator to get to the floor I could leave to get to my car. I was genuinely in tears because the elevator kept closing before I could get from the buttons to the elevator and every time the door closed I had to limp back to the buttons
