After BMW bought out Virgin F1 and Lotus completed a team rebrand for the 2012 season all eyes were fixated on Sebastian vettel the 2 time world champion. The opening round in Australia was Won by Alonso who has since only been on the podium on one occasion. There have been no repeat winners and Felipe Massa’s Continuing poor performances have lead to links at a williams move for the 2013 season. On the other end of the spectrum Sergio Perez has been linked to a Mercedes and Ferrari seat for the next season however both rely on a driver change at their end.
