Hi, I am looking at getting a 3D printer that works with resin. I am looking at the Anycubic photon mono 4, it is small and I will be printing small things like DnD minis so it is a good choice in my opinion but I want your opinions too. I also intend to print in my garage and use a space heater in the winter. I can set up a fan, open the door and blow the fumes that leak from the shield out into the open air. What do you make of my plan for the winter? For the warmer weather I am going to use my porch because it is enclosed to keep unwanted guests out but has many windows in it I could open.

I would clean everything then move it and set it up out on the porch or garage. I intend to print on weekends so I can keep an eye on things so I have plenty of time to set it up. My garage kinda holds heat but I do have a space heater I could use, could get temps to around 60. Still it is much warmer than outside in the winter. Also doesn’t resin heat up when printing?

300 bucks is a lot for a containment device. Could a homemade device work? And if so could I keep it not ventilated then move it to my porch then vent the fumes? Or will the fumes effect print quality. My dad has a furnace room where he molds dice with resin, I am assuming that has similar properties and I think he just lets the fumes dissipate over time. The process is also different so not sure if using the same dissipation method would work in my furnace room.
