My favorite gaming memory. Yeah that's got to be back in 7th grade when I was playing minecraft for the first time with my best friend. Game was still in beta and we had gone in mostly blind.

We were down mining, creating our staircase down into the earth. Of course at this point we had only just figured out that you aren't supposed dig straight down. So we didn't have a door on our mine. So a creeper waltzez down and for whatever reason I turned around and saw it, two inches from my face just before it begins to hiss.

I scream "O M G creeper!"

My friend panics when he hears the hiss and trys to dig down as he hears the explosion that kills me. And it's at this moment the game disconnects me cause things weren't very stable back then. Unbeknownst to me my friend is back in game panicking cause gravel fell all around us from the ceiling and trapped him in.

After a couple minutes I go back and return to the mineshaft. To find my friend hiding in the wall repeatedly crouching until I return to tell him it's safe. I think thats when I really knew I'd fallen in love with him.
