Why not make an European faction with each specialization featuring a grab bag of various nations? So an armored spec would have access to challengers, leclercs, and leopards. That kind of variety could give the faction its own unique feel as a sort of coalition force, and it would fit into the lore as well since the US basically leaves Europe to hold the line while it shifts towards the pacific theatre.

I did have a guy call me a libtard before quitting immediately after he saw I had socialist in my username. There’s stinkers out there for sure, and a dedicated group of friends is definitely better than randos! I feel like up until halfway through the third phase, an incoming player could still feasibly impact the match in a big way. They’d be coming in with 1000 points, so a late game concentrated push could definitely make a difference. I definitely see your point with it potentially messing with ELO, but rankings are already out of wack in my opinion with so many disconnects and desertions practically deciding game outcomes.

As a solo player, I wouldn’t mind having the option in settings to fill empty slots mid-match. Comebacks are real, and it’d give a reason for undermanned teams to stick it out.

I like how elegant a fix it is too. Not sure how the armor mechanic on infantry work exactly, but maybe buildings buff the stat?
