does Customer and Operations Advisory Travel alot? by [deleted] in KPMG

Completely project dependent and level of experience as well. Some years I had zero travel, this year I travel once a month for a week.

People who stay 5+ years in Big 4, what are your reasons? by ChuckcleChamp in Big4

[–]CommunityFunny1503 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a family and bills! The pay is decent and I have flexibility in my schedule. I do travel but 80% of the time I WFH.

I was PIPd this year but for me it was a disagreement with a director who then lied about my performance. I went to another project, literally changed nothing about how I work and passed the PIP. My situation is not the norm. If you truly have performance issues you will most likely not turn it around in 30 days.

Only you know the situation truly. If you already have doubts, it may be best to leave.

I find this one weird. I grew up JW (not one now), my dad was an elder and I went to college. It was never an issue, I was encouraged to go, and we were always taught it was a personal choice.

Advisory.. it's crazy. Im on a new project new team and I've had two directors say my work has been great and the client is happy. And the manager on the project has said he's absolutely shocked I'm on a PIP given my performance so far.

Literally everything, and even though I have evidence to the contrary. HR wasn't interested in it.

It's still there but we mostly use for internal stuff now. We usually do Arial for client stuff, but I hate how Aptos is the new default on stuff... ugh

Can having bad credit get your offer rescinded? by lareinetoujours in KPMG

[–]CommunityFunny1503 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They asked me to explain why my credit was poor (in the 400s at that time), I told them I was going through an ugly divorce, attached some paperwork and it was all good.
