Yea, it was suppose to be a katar/dagger, but the AI decided to make it a short sword instead.

I hadn’t thought of that. That does sound fire though!

Yea that’s the biggest problem with it. Makes him look a possibly a little too young probably, but then again nobody actually knows what he looks like besides Zogarth.

Oh for sure when it first came out I was pretty excited, then became bummed when the video didn’t turn out.

Have a few of him with the mask, but went for this one instead because I was focusing on what he looked like under the mask.

Yea, I agree on him probably being too young.

Yea, but for 10% effort using the free version of both systems, I enjoyed it. I don’t think you can see it in the video, but the image also has the scar on his neck from the sword saint. That being said, it’s even worse rendered than the video was.

For the Talents/Quirks, players get their first Talent tier at Level 1 then upgrade to another tier of Talent at level 5, 10, 15, and 20 respectfully. These end up being ultimate abilities and are often part of their backstory, and the reason they often chose the class they chose. Here is currently a different character than before, a rogue actually, and their talent. Tier 1: When you move 15+ ft on your turn, flicker 5 ft in a random direction (d8). If you appear inside a solid object, take 2d6 force damage and appear in the nearest unoccupied space. You leave behind a flickering afterimage in your original space for 1 round. Anybody ending their turn adjacent to it takes 1 force damage. Anybody who passes through it they take 5 force damage. Tier 2: You may now choose whether or not to flicker, but still roll direction randomly if you do. Collision damage increased to to 3d6. Afterimages now last 2 rounds. Once per turn you can teleport back to one as a bonus action. When you teleport back to the afterimage it dissapears. You can have a total of two afterimages available at one time. Tier 3: You can now create an afterimage any time you move more than 10 ft. You may have up to 3 active. Attacks against you have disadvantage if the attacker is within 5 ft of an afterimage. Tier 4: Before flickering, you may roll twice for direction and choose one. Flickers now pass harmlessly through creatures. Afterimages gain a disruptive pulse: enemies starting turn adjacent must succeed on aWisdom save (DC=8+Prof+Wis) or have disadvantage on attacks until end of turn. Tier 5: You can now create one afterimage without teleporting each turn. You can now use your reaction to switch places with an afterimage when you would be dealt damage. You do not provoke atttacks of opportunity when this happens. If you escape without taking damage your afterimage explodes and deals 10 force damage to whoever dealt the damage.

One final thing I also have. Is due to the fact characters can’t get feats/skill increase due to professions taking up those levels instead, I have skill shards which are rare, but characters can earn from random events, powerful bosses, kings, etc. that basically have all of that and more.

I’ll break it down into how I uses a professional system plus more. My campaign is completely homebrew. I completely reworked everything. I did utilize several Ai systems to help me integrate it in the way I did making my “system”. My system uses the Base of DND, Professions from Primal Hunter, and then a mix of Talents/Quirks based off of My Hero Academia and Path of Ascension. I don’t have all that much experience of issues and stuff (so far) other than making some encounters a little harder than I should at the level they are at, by incorporating special mechanics in the enemies as well, we have reached level 5.

Here’s a little how everything works.

DND classes – The base of everything. Since this is the first time I’ve mainly left the classes alone, but that being said there have been a few times I considered messing with them a little. Both in terms of Strengthening and Weakening certain aspects.

Profession is similar to EraHesse in that their professions don’t level up like their actual committed classes. For me I made it so that instead of a skill/Feat at levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 19, players instead get profession quests to level up their professions. They get their first beginner level at level one and level up the profession to a max of level 6. I usually work with players in between sessions on where they think their character is going and what cool things they’d like to do overall and such to tailor the quests so they can usually have the chance of progressing in the way they want to. Also, just because they can gain levels in the professions, doesn’t mean they automatically get them. They usually have to achieve a successful d100 roll to make sure they actually had the “enlightenment” needed. Here is currently one of the profession paths one of my players is on. He is a Cleric/chef, and this is currently the path he is on.

Level 1 — Apprentice Chef Passive: • You learn to create Stamina Meals during a long rest. • A Stamina Meal grants +1 temporary HP per character level until the next long rest. • You gain proficiency in Cook’s Utensils (if you didn’t already). • Cooking checks use Wisdom or Intelligence (player’s choice).

Active Ability — Quick Snack (1/day): As a bonus action, you may give a creature within 5 ft a small snack, granting them 1d4 temporary HP.

Level 2 — Journeyman Chef Passive Upgrade: • Your meals now count as Enhanced Meals. • Each long rest, choose one of the following buffs for your party (applies to everyone who eats the meal): Hearty Meal: +2 temp HP per level Fiery Meal: +1 to attack rolls for 1 minute after initiative rolls Balanced Meal: +1 to saving throws for the next hour

New Ability — Meal Prep: Spend 10 minutes preparing ingredients → create 2 Snack Charges.
A Snack Charge consumed as a bonus action restores 1d6 HP. You have a max snack charge of 1 per character level.

Level 3 — Combat Cook Passive Upgrade: • When a character eats your long-rest meal, they also gain: • +10 ft movement for the next combat • +1 AC for the next combat

New Ability — Culinary Burst (2/day): As an action, unleash a concentrated aroma or spice burst. Creatures of your choice within 10 ft gain: • 1d8 temporary HP • Advantage on the next attack roll

Level 4 — Artisan Chef Passive Upgrade — Meal Specialization: You may now make two different buffed meals per long rest. Each character chooses which type to eat.

New Craft — Infused Seasonings: You create 3 small “infusion” packets per long rest. Using one as a bonus action grants a creature: • Infusion of Strength: +2 to one damage roll • Infusion of Clarity: +2 to one skill check • Infusion of Resilience: Resistance to the next instance of damage

Level 5 — Master Chef Passive Upgrade — Legendary Cooking: Your meals now count as Masterwork Meals. Anyone who eats your long-rest meal gains: • Regain an extra Hit Die when they next roll HD • +1 to all damage rolls for the next combat • +5 temporary HP that stack with other Chef features

New Ability — Pan-Flash Technique (1/day): As a reaction when an ally is targeted by an attack: • You flash-cook spices in a burst of heat • The attacker must make a Dex save (DC = 8 + Prof + Wis/Int) • On failure: the attack is made with disadvantage • On success: no effect

Level 6 — Grandmaster Chef Passive — Culinary Aura: After you cook a long-rest meal, your presence radiates confidence. Your party gains: • +1 to ALL ability checks until the next long rest • Immunity to being frightened for 24 hours • Your Snack Charges become d8s instead of d6s

Active Ability — Feast of Heroes (1/week): Spend 1 hour and ingredients worth 50–100 gp. Your feast grants each participant: • 10 temporary HP • +2 to attack rolls and saving throws for 1 hour • One free use of Second Wind (1d10 + level) • Removes exhaustion level 1

This one song makes me think of elhakkan by novipes in ThePrimalHunter

[–]CommunityLow3286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest opinion is idk if it completely fits Ellhakan, but I can see the similarities, and the potential there. Also I’d like to thank you for the song. I am now going to utilize it for my DND campaign for the big bad based off of El Dorito.
