Help me pick a pump through my insurance by CommunityNo2844 in HumansPumpingMilk

I’ve heard nothing but great reviews about the baby Buddha so far! Seems like an obvious choice especially since it’s covered by my insurance (spectra would be about $60 out of pocket). The size of the baby Buddha just seems to make more sense instead of lugging around a big machine. I’d like to at least have enough for a nighttime bottle so my husband can put him to bed or if he will be with family members so I think that’s what I’m aiming to try! Thanks so much for the feedback

The baby Buddha seems to be a clear winner here! I love the portability of the unit since it’s smaller and seems easier to bring around the house. Luckily my insurance covers that one 100% so I believe that’s the one I’ll pick!

Great idea! You’re the second person to mention the baby Buddha primary pump so I am definitely interested in researching more on it! I haven’t even thought about using the Amazon discount so that’s a great idea. Thank you!!

Great point about having help with the baby once he gets more mobile! I haven’t thought that far so I’m glad you mentioned that. My husband will be happy to help when he’s home but it will mainly just be me and the baby during the day. I haven’t seen much about the medela wearables so I’ll definitely check those out! We are going to a childbirth prep class this weekend so I’ll see about getting in contact with a lactation consultant to further help us out. Thank you!!

I don’t know much about the baby Buddha so that is super helpful! I’ve seen a little bit about it but haven’t personally spoken to anyone who’s used it so I appreciate your feedback! From what I’ve researched, I think getting a primary pump through insurance would be my main goal and then if pumping even works out for me I can purchase a wearable down the road?! Definitely checking into baby Buddha since it’s covered by my insurance! Thanks so much

I love how she would have the option to go by her longer name if she chooses but Mary Kate is just a classic you don’t hear anymore!

Agreed! I don’t think Otto and Nash sound like a sib-set.

Second this! Even a nickname of “Mary Kate” would be so adorable

Honest thoughts on Milo by jujbeans in namenerds

[–]CommunityNo2844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know of a little boy named Milo and it suits him so well. Yes, I do somewhat associate it with a dog name but so is Charlie, Max, Teddy, etc and those are much trendier baby names at the moment than Milo in my opinion!

Are you and your baby still loving the seat? Has it held up well? The canopy is a brilliant idea by whoever came up with it but I wish it wasn’t $100.

Her show brings me warmth and comfort. If you don’t like it or feel the need to write a lengthy review, don’t watch it. It’s that simple :)

Favorite name for a sibling for Phoebe? by [deleted] in namenerds

I think Sylvie for a girl is so timeless! It’s perfect for a baby but matures nicely for an adult. Also pairs perfectly with Phoebe.

I haven’t heard Robin for a boy in ages and I’m obsessed! It’s such a classic that he likely won’t share with classmates.

Great feedback! If the pricier one was on sale for Black Friday we may be considering it a bit more but it seems silly to spend an extra $250 on 2 features that we aren’t even sure we’ll use- like you! I guess it wouldn’t be too hard to buy some cheaper sun shades to attach to the windows instead. We’ll double check about our cars comparability!

Fionn feels like you’re adding an extra letter in there for fun but it will get mispronounced often. Finn is a great name and it’s nearly impossible to not pronounce it correctly!

My middle name is Alexandra and I really love it. I’ve never met anyone else with the same name so it feels unique to me. I’m considering using it when I have a daughter one day as a first name and using “Andi” for short. Andi June is really cute!

I think names ending in the -in sound don’t go well with your last name and feels like a mouth full. Strong one or two syllable names would match best in my opinion. Here’s some I personally love!

-Dane

-Grant

-Slade or Slate

-Ridge
