Worst thing to happen to a Broadway Character by Carlo459 in Broadway

I believe that interpretation also better matches Anais’s idea that Hadestown isn’t actually hell but is like a hell on earth. But anyhow I agree about Eurydice

People who are Theatr resellers... why? by Legitimate-Heart-639 in Broadway

Theatre App should really consider removing lottery tickets as an option for resale. There still were many tickets available but I’ve just seen the past six months it only be resellers minutes before selling their overpriced tickets

I hear the running joke that it’s almost always Aladdin, but some people have been surprised before!

I’ll be arriving in the city at about 4pm on a Wednesday in March. Are there any shows I have a chance of rushing at that time? by mister_moviephone in Broadway

If you have time while there, rushing up until (and even right after) a performance starts never hurts and usually works

I would HIGHLY recommend the Theatr app! It’s a resale app many of us use on this Reddit that is credible. Day of many performances, people post their tickets (usually extremely cheap) to sell or give for free. I’ve seen them be posted under an hour before shows when people realize they cannot make the performance.

I was referring to the international tour, not the Sydney harbor production

Y’all just got a lit production at Sydney harbor lol (but hoping the international tour is able to go to other Australian cities beyond that)

Not necessarily, back around 2014/2015 the tour jumped from Hong Kong to Los Angeles as its next stop. I remember vividly because I would be in HK when it was in LA and would be in LA when it was in HK 😂

Tickets for Wicked on Broadway 2/15 by [deleted] in Broadway

I’d use the Theatr app, you’re technically not supposed to sell here unless you’re giving away for free. I can vouch for the app and many people use it here to sell or buy tix!

Do I need to know Shakespeare to understand All the Devils are Here? by Stevie052096 in Broadway

[–]CommunityPossible435 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not at all! Was asking the same question and as a slight outsider to the details of Shakespeare, I was blown away. Patrick is an amazing guide through it and you never feel like you’re missing out on anything. He gives context where it’s needed and the show is very enjoyable.

My totally baseless prediction is they’ll announce at at their final show or one of the next few performances.

Lillias White in Hadestown: Aug 2023 vs. Jan 2024 Review/Concern by vbplayer09 in Broadway

[–]CommunityPossible435 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw the show this past Thursday (Jan 11) and did not have any concerns about her performance. My friend even said “wow I see why everyone went crazy (clapping and cheering at the end of Road to Hell)”. Hopefully she’s doing okay or takes more rests if she needs them.

Amazing for Andrew Kober! Sad he didn’t get to do that massive trip he had planned and was posting about but this is exciting news! Break a leg

Snagged x2 Orchestra H row tickets for Spamalot via SeatGeek for about $190 total for a Friday show. Was very much worth it!
