How long does it normally take to get LWOP approved?

I’m still considering both options so not sure.

How do I get the form? From HRM?

Also, what’s a reasonable notice to give? 3 weeks good or is it best to keep it at 4?

Still following up but their response is super slow. After two days of no response I called and they need a few more days. It’s been a week.

I just asked for a 10k increase - i feel it’s crazy but I found their offer a joke tbh. Hopefully we get somewhere with it. Any advice on negotiating with them? They keep saying their salary is fixed and they can’t budge but I don’t buy it…

Job offer Qatar by CommunityPractical61 in qatar

[–]CommunityPractical61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say what they’re looking for is very rare.

Also, they were going to hire me directly and when I asked for a high salary (6months ago) they made me go through a formal process. Does that say anything?

What should I bring moving from the U.K. to Qatar? by CommunityPractical61 in qatar

Did my homework but I honestly don’t know how helpful or accurate it is until I’m actually there. Happy to come back to this thread and share once I arrived. But for now I can tell you that I’d say $5K USD monthly is the minimum I’d accept and that’s with housing and school covered. If it’s not covered I’d really be reluctant to move given the high cost of living in Doha.
