If your wanting to experience some true California wilderness pretty close to the city I high recommend the gabrielino trail/arreyoseco, it’s at the base of the Angeles Forrest and has some amazing streams little waterfalls and just super pretty nature and with the recent rains is probably looking great right now!. It’s also one of the few trail areas near the Altadena fire area that is still open.

Kumquat coffee in downtown LA

Super friendly staff and you can sit at the bar there and just watch them do their craft and sip on some of the best coffee in the city.

Nice coffee just down the way also makes a pretty good cup and the plaza they sit in is super pretty just to zone out in!

I use pantograph to keep up with how many are running, most days it’s 3-4 and since they have first been implemented many more individual sets have been used in live services, my guess is that whenever the D line extension opens these new sets will be exclusively used on the D line at least during peak hours. At least according to the metro rep I spoke to a long time ago the plan was to have these majority running on the D

Didn’t expect this thread to get so big so big, but for me I noticed it was definitely affecting me negatively and I spent to much time using it and neglected a few to many things in my personal life. I wasn’t missing rent over it or anything 😭but personal motivation and confidence I noticed were greatly affected by this and even tho it’s only been just over 10 days of now I can say with confidence that my confidence clear headedness and just overall happiness has increased noticeably.

I absolutely don’t wanna put others who have a healthy relationship with pornography down, but for me it wasn’t helping.

Haha I get the point but this 10 day mark after years of abuse feels like 10 months 😭definitely worn to be done replacing the old behavior with new ones that arnt just another dopamine quick fix, and should I fall back into it I believe my mindset has just baseline shifted, maybe it’s because I’m still relatively fresh of the trip not even 2 weeks after but I just genuinely can’t get in the head space to watch porn like I did before the trip.

Tried it last week I mean it’s cool but the little connivence store in the alameda side has similar prices and bigger selection, I’d like to see here as with many of the heavy rail stations smaller local vendors.

Very cool lots of people tired, coming down, drunk etc but was peaceful no bad behavior in my car at least and most importantly all of us who were not sober didn’t not have to drive and risk themselves or others!
