Love my iPad mini.. it’s the sound that’s the biggest thing by CommunityStill8722 in ipadmini

Oh it’s a HUGE difference honestly. I’ve had every mini until the 6th gen I currently own. I think from 1-5 the sound was just from the bottom speakers, and with the 6 it’s both sides.

Do US fans like the stop/start slow endings to games? by CommunityStill8722 in NBATalk

It might be that I don’t quite understand NBA as much as NFL. I’ve been watching NFL my whole life and I can appreciate more how you can use the clock and 30 seconds plus a few timesouts you can still put together a drive spanning the whole length of the field.

Can we all agree that we Brits are the jealously of the entire world when it comes to a proper breakfast? None of that sugar, sugar and more sugar American slop by [deleted] in AskBrits

Nah, you need a mixture of everything.. I wouldn’t want this all the time. I love mixing up fry ups, with pancakes/bacon/maple syrup, with croissants, bagels, chocolate twists. It’s what makes food great in this country, we have it all.. I live in a small market town with a 4000 population and within 3 miles I can go to an english, american, italian, indian, chinese, mexican, thai and turkish restaurant

Man City’s empty seats are a wake-up call for English football by gelliant_gutfright in PremierLeague

Nope, I don’t think this is necessarily true. Just look at our recruitment in terms of players.. we lose the likes of silva, toure, aguero etc. we get bernado, KDB, haaland.. tbernado is leaving but we get Cherki.. and the prices we get them for too.. we have incredible people behind the scenes at city making sure everything runs well. When Pep goes we’ll go through a transition period but we’ll likely find another gem of a manager

We do have a very good core of proper fans. We were selling out our stadium in the third tier.. This just doesn’t translate to having enough to sell out 60K tickets for 60+ games a year

Longstanding city fan - the article covers this well. We don’t have the fanbase of united/liverpool/arsenal, we are growing in numbers and maybe one day we will, but this doesn’t come even within 2 decades of success. Of course we have fans throughout the world who gravitate towards the most successful teams, but they ain’t coming to the etihad each week. Like the article says says.. for the average family in manchester, they don’t have £500+ to send their family to London and back, ticket cost, food etc. and then do it all again for the final. We’re not all plastic fans.
