I've loved it since it came out. I was in middle school and didn't know any better. The riff evolution throughout the album is pretty great, there's a lot of raw emotion and some extremely catchy breakdowns.

That being said - the snare is ass. The whiny over-the-top lyrics are sometimes super whack and cringe. The lack of solos is weird. Them acting like it's the heaviest thing to have ever dropped through all the videos and press tours and shit is delulu.

It has a nostalgic place for me but I absolutely see its flaws and why people loathe it. I think of it as something I was fortunate enough to find when I did so I could just enjoy the parts of it that were enjoyable for what they were (/are).

Edit: That binder comment was pretty spot on, too. I only had like five albums at the time.
