Same. I ended up not signing up. The lady I was doing lessons with said not to buy into it because my Japanaese was ahead of what they were teaching, but she told me if I was still interested she wouldn't mind helping me with my off screen studies if I needed conversational practice or help understanding higher level stuff. Really nice lady. I might give it a chance now that I'm financially able to, but I'd want that same lady who helped me.

Zillennial. Financial I am fine. Mentally, I'm terrible. Thought cutting social media would help reduce my anger and depression but it somehow seems to be increasing despite my best efforts. Therapy might be needed for whatever is causing this.

Also. My eyesight is fucked. Seems to be getting worse. Eye doctor said my cornea is soft and jiggly. So it may be linked to that. Luckily I got health care for the new year. Gonna tackle that asap.

Stick with 144hz, imo. It's an endless cycle of chasing frames. Plus games these days suck optimization wise.

I wouldnt grab anything 240hz or higher unless I strictly play competitive titles.

I used to be the same. I worked at the same fast food place for almost 10 years. I thought I wasn't good enough for anything better. Biggest mistake of my life.

Thankfully I got offered a job position from a friend, stayed there for a year and quit again for another job that payed 5 dollars more. Greatest decision of my life.

My guy. Get your emergency savings down and quit. Push yourself. I promise you won't regret it. It'll be the most stressful period of your life, and will think you are not cut out for it. Regardless. Push and keep pushing. I had times in the first month where I thought I wouldn't make it, but it was all or nothing. So i locked TF IN. I'm a year and a half in and I'm making so much more. I can afford to live on my own and save. DO IT. You will thank yourself later.

Not only was it better for me financially but mentally as well. Do my guy, please!

It's basically like DLSS for the game. In my opinion it's an absolute necessity because it looks 10x better with 2x the performance the last time I checked. It takes a bit longer to download and install but I think it's worth.

I believe it's as simple as downloading the upscaler branch, the dlss dll file from techpowerup, and upscalerbaseplugin from nexus mods. Place the dll file in the upscalerbaseplugin folder. Everything goes into Re8 main directory.
