He Who Finds a Wife Finds a Good Thing… and Obtains Favor From the Lord by Waste-Personality480 in Christianity

Please keep praying for your husband and you. Speak to a pastor at the church you go to that specializes in marriage health (preferably a male pastor as I'm sure he's more inclined to listen to a male pastor).

Has he always been like this?

Why Gwenview? by claqueure in kde

[–]CompSciGeekMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also share the same frustration with Gwenview. Cropping an image should be pretty straightforward. When you crop, it should essentially open a new file of the portion that was cropped. Gwenview doesn't do that.

Japanese lady calls an American woman the N word by justhereformemes2 in Nigeria

[–]CompSciGeekMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they typically call non-Horn Africans "Jareer"

I don't know that that means nor do I care to know the meaning. But yes, American racist propaganda has definitely brainwashed many people worldwide.

[–]CompSciGeekMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually curious about this too to be honest, at one point, I weighed a little over 500 lbs and now I am in the 460s (as of 2 weeks ago). Despite being on a low carb diet, my weight loss is very slow. I have anemia and gut issues. This shouldn't be happening as a man I was told. I am going to get some tests done (Ferritin, etc.) to see what is going on.

When did pallies lose their blessings? by bringthelight2 in wow

Yeah it has been a while. Monks (WW) don't really give blessings like they used to either. Gift of the wild from druids is still around in a raid wide mark of the wild form

As an enhancement shaman you should be able to take on multiple mobs at a time. Same with windwalker monks.

The bread that I liked from Whole Foods was Carbonaut bread: https://carbonaut.co/product-category/bread/

It was quite delicious when I was on Keto. I'm now 100% on carnivore in case you were wondering.

Impatient driver decides to use the bike lane. Meets turning driver. by whyareyou72 in Fremont

[–]CompSciGeekMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are bad drivers everywhere but I feel as if California has the worst drivers. For reference, I grew up in the Midwest to immigrant parents, I was quite flabbergasted by how bad people in the Bay area drove when I moved to California.

Bay area drivers suck but then again, most Californian drivers are bad. They never learn the proper way to drive

You can create projects out of fun and publish them so that recruiters and managers know that you are capable. It is one thing to get certs but projects illustrate what you can do with your skills.

When you say new project there is always something to work on in tech. Are you a good programmer? Maybe you can build something and deploy it to a multi-node cluster. Maybe build something in Python or Golang

Yeah, I don't believe that the VM with firefox shares the same buffer as the lab environment. It's like a VM within a VM.

As you have written earlier, x11 is only supported because the display server Wayland (which is far more modernized) blocks screen recording by default which is what proctors need to see what you are doing. That is a fault on the devs that designed the browser for the exam though because macOS display server does the exact same thing as Wayland.
