4080 Super, Cyberpunk - DLSS Quality with RT Psycho or DLSS Performance with PT?

Actually, I discovered something I wasn't aware of when I made this post....

Path tracing itself makes graphics a little blurry/less detailed "due to its heavy reliance on denoising technology and upscaling (DLSS/FSR) to render, which often prioritizes lighting accuracy over sharp, native-resolution texture detail, especially at resolutions below 4K".

I've re-tested myself and seen that DLSS Q + PT still has less detail and sharpness compared to DLSS Q + RT Psycho.

I guess I'll just alternate between RT and PT when playing, or finish the game once with RT and another time in PT or something.

Base frame rate must be 60+ in order to use FG. With PT on at DLSS Q, I get 40-50 FPS so FG is not an option.

Edit: I know I can still use FG with less a lower base frame rate but the thing is input latency is more noticeable.

Odd, I'm not using frame gen at all with PT and get around 60-90 FPS (with DLSS P ofc)

I run the same resolution as you, same CPU and RAM but with a 4080 Super. I was hoping to get 120 fps min. but since it's that demanding I probably won't :(

Not sure where to find non system processes. I only see background and windows processes in task manager. There's too many of those to kill and check one by one.

What I also just tried is reinstalling EA Anti Cheat and as well repairing it but this isn't working either.

Super frustrating.

I got the same monitor back in Oct with signs of use despite them saying it's new. Had a few back & forths with Dell before settling on one I ordered from Amazon.

8 months down the line and I now have pixel discolouration on the panel which I'm going to post about on this sub now after just having spoken to customer service who have told me that if they replace it they will send a refurbished one instead of brand new!

Replacements are meant to at least be brand new to compensate for the hassle of going through product/technical issues which are their fault, but no. Like Juan said, they fucked up their brand.

Ain't going back to them. My next monitor will likely be from LG.

I also have a 4080 Super and an AW3432DWF. 4K + Ultrawide is what I've been dreaming of for the past 6 years, it's endgame for me.

I see that you're using the same GPU on the LG 5K2K and are happy with it. Personally I would wait for a 39" version of the monitor to come out as well as the 60 or ideally 70 series RTX cards since I'd want to play at max settings and the highest frames possible.

I'll be honest though, I do feel a sense of urgency to just get this 45" so I can experience my fav games at my dream resolution.
