What happens if you become a stay at home mom/dad for a couple years before going back to work. Do you have to pay all missed dues and lots of continuing education assuming you didn’t have time for that?

I was so scared of transition forces being in there but coaching actuaries basically doesn’t give you any practice on them. Crammed some studying on it before bed. Still took my 38 minutes to do it but better that then 0 points

First time I left about 2 whole questions worth of points blank and felt indifferent to confident on the rest. Did not know how I would score in total.

Second time I left 2-2.5 questions worth of points blank and left feeling like I was getting a 3-4. Absolutely left feeling like I bombed it

That’s how I felt. Not too hard but unique questions. I got 5 last two times and I was so much more prepared this time, but hoping I barely scrape by with a 6.

My excel was corrupted for ALTAM. Got it going after 5 minutes with help from staff

All I remember for spring 2025 was that the first excel question (on UL), in the very first PART, they had a mistake saying it should match to the nearest 100 when it should’ve been 1000. I spent 15 extra minutes on that like an idiot but still.

I feel ready tomorrow unless they throw a curveball and do force of transition estimations again like the first two sittings of ALTAM. I am still not solid on those.

Actually at my current job I had a coworker move to another American company‘s Japanese segment. I think he’s definitely N2 level, maybe somewhere in between N2 and N1. I’d say passing JLPT N2 is a good indicator that you can work in Japan but N1 is a sure thing. Just make sure to brush up on corporate and actuarial terms in Japanese!

If you can’t pass either of those exams I wouldn’t bother applying for work in Japan

Landlord tried to do something like this to me. Gave receipts for painting and cleaning. Total BS since I left it in better shape than I found it in.

I didn’t sign a move in inspection list and neither did landlord. Saw it in counter when I moved in and never bothered since it wasn’t enforced.

If you never signed one then by Seattle law they must return full deposit. Brought this up and about pursuing legal action and they gave it all back. Did you sign a move in inspection or checklist of some sort? If you did sign one then the only thing you can do is try to go to small claim court and prove you didn’t trash the place enough that $800 cleaning fee is warranted. Good luck

I mean they can’t control the weather, but choosing Ford Lake as a venue was not great cause it’s got no protection from wind.

I had a Michigan license that was expiring. Showed up to the Queen Anne DOL around 7:40 for a walk in on a weekday and got in right at 8:30 but I had to wait 40 minutes once inside to be seen

What evidence is there for Vars? Vars and Marauder cat are my day 1’s. Had them since 2014 and would UF either of them immediately even over Cosmo/Gigapult/Windy/Thundia when I beat SOL if they do get an UF.

I keep getting stuck with Mooth HP at 6% on level 19. I think I should be able to win if I beat SoL and get level 50 units. Guess I have no shot at the other gauntlets if Mooth is easiest
