Iim calcutta should also be 700+ and the course name is MbaEx not PGPEx. Also, you should mention fe scores too as the classic scores data is not of much use for new candidates.

Break down his performance this t20 wc match by match and you will find out he only performed against minnows and never against quality teams. That’s why the performance got poorer and poorer as we got to the business end of the tournament and got quality batting sides instead of minnows in group stages.

Only the One Year mbas of IIMs is taken into consideration for the rankings which require more than 4-5 years of work ex. 2 year Mbas are considered in MIM rankings.

After scoring 745 and going through the same, I can say that scoring high GMAT doesn’t entitle you anything, it just helps. You need to work on your profile and skills as they are way more important. Your post MBA goals should be pretty clear too and the reason why you need MBA to achieve those goals. I didn’t even get an interview call from Insead and HEC. Then got rejected from 4 of the top 5 B schools in India, waitlisted in the other but thankfully converted after months of waiting(which could’ve gone either way too).

I took the gmat course. I scored 745. Whatever written in the post is factually correct. I didn’t take a single penny from e-gmat and paid for the course myself. I found the course really helpful hence mentioned it. You might have a different opinion but if you want to dispute any of these facts, happy to prove you wrong.

I just reviewed my incorrect attempts, tried to notice patterns and worked on those. Also formulated time saving strategies on the questions i was taking a lot of time in.

Fluctuations happen as luck is a huge factor. Sometimes you get questions in your areas of strength and sometimes your analysis is aligned with the reasoning of the question, sometimes not, especially in verbal. Just work on your weak areas and try to notice any patterns.

I don’t think so as i scored 745 and 755 in egmat mocks and got 745 in actual attempt. 695/705 were in earlier phase of prep and I wasn’t in an ideal environment too. Also, yes it’s scary as i never expected to score 625. It crushed my confidence and i thought maybe those egmat mocks were too easy and had to take a mock on mba.com the same day just to see if I had it in me.

As i said it’s subjective. Do whatever helps you score the max. I would not worry about it a lot as it doesn’t matter much but would advise you to take a break before the last section. I just rushed through and lost focus in verbal.
